CSIA MIDDLE SCHOOL
UNIFORM POLICY
TOPS
Must have a collar & sleeves, short or long- no Tshirts, except on Fridays for School Spirit Days.
Must be a solid color.
NO hoods on sweaters, sweatshirts or anything else.
Must fit well- no overlarge or form fitting attire.
No jackets or coats may be worn in the classroom.
CSIA shirts may be worn on Fridays.
PE shirts may be worn DURING gym class only- students may change prior to class. Since students have gym more than once a week, no PE shirts worn as 'regular' clothes, except on Fridays.
BOTTOMS
Must be solid color- navy blue, black, or khaki (casual dress material)- and must fit well- no sagging, drooping, or clinging!
NO sweatpants or basketball shorts, or similar material.
NEW- Girls, leggings are allowed if under skirts- IF THE SKIRTS ARE LONG ENOUGH!!
All skirts and shorts must reach fingertips when standing straight, hands at sides.
Jeans may only be worn on Fridays, with a CSIA or uniform shirt. BUT, no ripped or skin-tight jeans.
SHOES
No flip-flops or shower shoes. Come ready to run at gym and recess, or walk to the library!

Out of Uniform FUN DAYS
** For each date listed, the 'school-appropriate' rules still apply- nothing too tight or too revealing, no sagging, and no words or pictures that are not ok for school. ASK if you are unsure!
11-12 Out of Uniform Fun Days
Remember, all fun days listed below are intended to allow some freedom from the MS uniform. However, all CCS policies still apply: no form- fitting or overlarge clothing, no inappropriate pictures or words, and no holes. See Sra. Thompson if there are any questions about particular items of clothing.
Wednesday, Oct. 5- Plaids or Patterns Day- Try one or the other please: fun plaid or otherwise patterned pants or shirts are welcome. HOWEVER, this is not MisMatch Day, so please don't mix your patterns!
Wednesday, Oct. 26- Mismatch Day- NOT layer day… just mix stripes & plaids, polka dots & animal prints…
Wednesday, Nov. 9- Super Stripes Day- Striped tops or bottoms are welcome. Please don’t mix them, just enjoy the chance to wear something other than solid colored shirts or pants.
Monday, 11/21-Tuesday, 11/22- a very short Sport Support week! Celebrate the OSU/UM rivalry by wearing Ohio State or University of Michigan shirts either day, plus:
Mon., 11/21- Support any favorite sport/team including your own by wearing jerseys, basketball shorts (that don’t fall off!), warm up pants, socks, shoes, hoodies, T’s… who are your favorites?
Tues., 11/22- BRING IT ON! Wear it all to support Ohio State or Michigan- hats, jerseys, socks, shoes, jewelry, hoodies…
Wednesday, Dec. 14- Twin Day- How well can you and a friend (or friends) match?
Wednesday, Jan. 11- Inspiration Day- wear tshirts or sweatshirts that support high schools or colleges, or have sayings that emphasize the importance of learning, or show something or someone that has inspired you to do something special.
