I see boxes.  Boxes, boxes, and more boxes.  Nothing scary about boxes, right?  So I think this is going to be a piece of cake.  I keep walking toward the end, when suddenly I hear a thump sound coming form one of the boxes.  It was like someone was hitting on the box, trying to get out.  I go to the box, wondering what is in side. I have a feeling that I should not open up the box, but my curiosity gets the best of me.  I open the box and suddenly a ghost pops out. It is dressed in a black robe with a hood over its head.  I cannot see its head nor do I want to.  He also carries a big, sharp looking scythe. “I have come for you……” he says, ever getting closer to me with that scythe.

“Why?” I ask, ever retreating from that huge scythe.

“Because, it’s my job.  I am the Grim Reaper.”

“Oh, please don’t, I’m too young,” I plea.

“It’s time,” he says, lifting up his scythe.

       “No, no, no!!!!!!!!!!”

“Hello? Is any one there?” Jess asks, with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

“Huh, wah?” I ask, kind of caught off guard.

“You once again zoned out, like you usually do. I just dared you to go up in the attic.  So are you going?”

I shrug.  “No, I’ll think I’ll pass. Besides, I need to wake up tomorrow to get my grim reaper costume ready.”
