I saw a dark figure in my path. It jumped on me! “Gotcha!” yelled Emma. Jess convinced her to get me! I have to get Jess back for this!

“Hey, nice trick, want to get Jess now?” I asked.

“Good idea! Let’s get him!” she agreed.

“Ok, let’s make it seem like something bad happened to us, and pop out at her like you did to me,” I planned.

“Oh, alright, I like that idea. But maybe we can make some things up here look like monsters or something spooky,” she suggested.

I answered, “I like how you’re thinking.” And so we gathered up some pillows and brooms up to get ready for our little prank. After setting up, we hid behind some old furniture which had, obviously, been up here for a while.

“What’s taking him so long?” yelled Jess. “Timmy, go up and check on them for me.”

“But it’s dark and scary up there,” said Tim y.

“Fine, I’ll go too,” sighed Jess. So they crept up the steps. They squinted at the figures that we made.

“Ok, let’s follow them, “I whispered.

“Alright,” Emma agreed. So we followed Jess and Timmy. We waited until they came to a stop. They paused once they saw what the figured really were.

“Hey, what are you doing up here?” we asked in a freaky voice. They ran behind some furniture to hide behind.

We walked up to them and said,”Gotcha!”
